Part 4 : Heffley Creek
When living in a foreign country somehow being able to explore your own backyard seems so much more enticing. There is always something new to discover.
Heffley Creek is located roughly 20 min north of Kamloops. Its a little country village with friendly people as its residence. Its best for people who like the rural lifestyle without the upkeep and work that comes with a farm. The only fences are those surrounding a stable and kids roam the streets freely.
To paint you a picture, I remember in the dead of winter I looked out the window and saw a group of kids zooming down the street on a quad with a sleigh attached to the back.
Why was this the perfect location for us? Apart from having a friend that owned a house and was renting a room out, its half way between Kamloops and Sun Peaks.
